On March 3rd we’re hosting our first ever Dad and Mom joke showdown.
One by one, 10 contestants have two minutes each to make Dad or Mom jokes based on prompts they have received ahead of time. Each contestant is immediately judged by five members of the audience, who have been selected before the show to be judges. They rank each joker on a scale of 1 to 10, often with hilariously long decimals and other commentary.
Then they do it again, only this time contestants get their prompts on stage and only have 30 second to think and another two minutes to make jokes.
The top four contestants go head to head in a final joke showdown.
Want to compete? Just show up! It’s first come, first served. We’ll be holding this event on our Wiffleball Field, so come through, grab a drink, and prepare for a tournament unlike any other you’ve seen. The show starts at 8, show up anytime before then to enter or observe!
