NIGHTLY LEAGUES INFO

Registration for Fall ’26 Leagues are CLOSED! Fall 2026 League Play begins Monday, August 24th!

  • Leagues consist of 7 or 8 Teams, All Teams make the playoffs, and 2 weeks of tournament play to crown League Champs
  • Leagues play Monday through Thursday, with games starting at either 6:15, 7:15, 8:15, or 9:15pm at Broken Bat
    • Monday Night is recommended for first-time teams
    • Tuesday Night is recommended (NOT required) Co-Ed
    • Wednesday Night is all talent levels
    • Thursday Night is our most competitive night
  • There will be three, 9-Week seasons starting on Monday, August 24th, 2026 –  November 30th, 2026 – and March 15th, 2027
  • Discounted 32oz pitchers of our ENTIRE TAPLIST will be made available to active teams in the leagues. These leagues are tremendously important to a lot of what we have going on around Broken Bat, and want to make sure that teams’ participation in the leagues don’t go unappreciated!
  • Instead of a lottery system to select new teams for the Leagues moving forward, current teams are given the first opportunity to opt-in with necessary requirements listed below:
  • Moving forward, the top 5 Teams in the nightly ‘Pitcher Race’, as well as the League Champions from the season, will be given an automatic opt-in to the following season and the final 3 spots (potentially 4 if the League Champion is within the Top 5 Pitcher Race) will be filled via Open Registration depending on interest from teams who did not participate in that season
  • League dues are $425 per team, per season.
    • Nightly Pitcher Race Team Winners still get free entry into the following season
    • Nightly League Champions will receive $200 Gift Cards to the taproom that can be used for anything at Broken Bat except league dues for the following or future seasons, two hours of free use on the field during a time of their choosing, and championship t-shirts.
  • Dogs are NOT allowed back in the field area, whatsoever
  • Let me repeat that last bullet point. Dogs are NOT allowed in the wiffle ball field of play, whatsoever. 
  • Nightly umpiring responsibilities will be handled by a group of folks who were interested, if you or anyone you know is interested in making $80 in cash and a few free beers for 4 games nightly, let me know, always looking for help there!

Winter League Open Registration will begin on October 23rd, 2026 – we expect there to be a handful of openings on all 4 nights.

Registration does NOT guarantee you a spot in the league unfortunately, we are doing everything we can to include as many current and new teams as possible.

RULES FOR TEAMS

  • Must wear proper athletic footwear at all times
  • All equipment will be provided by Broken Bat
  • Broken Bat reserves the right to remove any players/teams for poor behavior or breaking rules without warning
  • NO BEER ON THE FIELD OF PLAY AT ANY TIMES – NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Each player must sign a waiver before being allowed to play
  • Have a ton of fun!

RULES FOR PLAY

  • Slow pitch – Pitch from designated mound at a speed easy to hit
  • Force play at First Base is pitcher’s hand
  • Any ball that hits the ceiling is LIVE and if it lands fair, it should be played
  • Any ball that hits the wall is FOUL
  • A standard 3-2 count is used
  • Maximum of 9 players may hit on each team
  • Maximum of 4 players (including pitcher) may field
